Move over, Kirby Smart. You’re not the only coach in Athens capable of landing big time recruits. Mark Fox picked up a star of his own for the 2018 recruiting class: Landers Nolley, a wing from Langston Hughes in Fairburn, has committed to the ‘Dawgs.

Nolley revealed his commitment on Saturday night following an official visit to Athens. Nolley had visited his other finalist, Virginia Tech, last weekend. He joins Amanze Ngumezi of Savannah, a 6-9, 235 pound forward, in the 2018 class. Nolley is rated as the fourth best prospect in Georgia this year by 247Sports while Ngumezi is #5.

The 6’4, 175 pound senior is listed as a shooting guard by the recruiting services, but could also provide another option (and some size) at point guard He averaged 24.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a junior. Georgia is also still a candidate to land Oak Hill Academy guard Will Richardson, a Midway, Georgia native among the top 50 prospects in America per 247.

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
