Around the SEC

NCAA Football: Georgia at Tennessee Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Hey, I heard some recruit committed to some school this morning. Pretty cool.

Anyways, here is a roundup of all non-Fields related SEC news before the games start tomorrow.

Here is what’s happening around the SEC:

  • Florida runningback Adarius Lemons looks to be becoming increasingly frustrated with his role on the team. We’ll see if he gets some carries against rival LSU this weekend.
  • Auburn coach Gus Malzahn hasn’t ruled out the possibility of resting banged up runningback Kamryn Pettway. You say rest, I say rust.
  • Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel has revisted a column he wrote a few years back that stated UCF and USF would be better for the SEC than Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Get your popcorn ready for this one.
  • Before their Homecoming game against Georgia, Vanderbilt hosted Migos for their Homecoming concert. I’d like to think Quavo is a spy for Kirby Smart in this situation.

It wasn’t the flashiest of weeks for SEC headlines… except for Georgia picking up some quarterback. I hear he is pretty good.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
