Here is what’s happening around the SEC:

• Florida coach Jim McElwain has stated that his family and team have received death threats after their 3-3 start. There is a line for fandom which shouldn’t be crossed and this is so, so far beyond that line. Hope those so-called “fans” who are doing this stop this nonsense immediately.
• According to Yahoo’s Pat Forde, it could still be a while before the NCAA releases the verdict on the Ole Miss investigation.
• Missouri coach Barry Odom has stated that the Tigers should play rival Kansas every year. The pinnacle of this rivalry was in 2007, but now it’d just be a free win for Mizzou every season – just ask Texas.
