Kirby Smart took to the mic this afternoon to talk about the great opportunity his team has to go to Nashville and play Vanderbilt.

As expected the head ‘Dawg artfully dodged questions about who will start at quarterback, adhering to the philosophy he brought from Alabama: every player at every position competes for his job every week, and quarterbacks aren’t an exception.

Trenton Thompson "got lucky" and will miss a week with a sprained MCL in his knee. Truly that injury could have been much worse. With Mizzou coming to Athens on October 14th followed by a bye week, there’s every reason to believe big Trent will be rested and ready to take on Florida in Jacksonville.
