Your Week 7 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by UGA fans worried about Drew Lock... If his 52% completion rate doesn’t beat you, his 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio will!

Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

I have to say that I’m very pleased we’re going back to another night game. I used to hate having to wait around all day for the game to start, but now I rather enjoy the building anticipation. I definitely prefer it to getting up and rushing around, trying to get everything done before a noon kickoff. But you may be asking yourself, “just what am I going to do with all that time before the Georgia-Mizzou game?”

Well, I’ve got a few ideas...

And now on to your prime viewing options in each time slot:

WEDNESDAY

South Alabama Jaguars @ Troy Trojans, 8:00, ESPN2

I assume there is some sort of in-state rivalry/hatred here that ought to make this a worthy way to spend your Wednesday night? Thoughts? Anybody?

THURSDAY

Texas State Bobcats @ Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns, 7:30, ESPNU

How did we go from NC State/Louisville last Thursday to this (and only this)? I’m gonna take a pass, but y’all have fun.

FRIDAY

#8 Washington State Cougars @ California Golden Bears, 10:30, ESPN

Ahhh... that’s more like it.

SATURDAY NOON

South Carolina Gamecocks @ Tennessee Volunteers, 12:00, ESPN

Tune in to see one of Georgia’s upcoming opponents. Stick around to see what new and interesting ways Butch Jones has devised to completely destroy Tennessee football. You didn’t hear it from me, but I have it on good authority that ol’ Butch spent the bye week cooking up some really revolutionary stuff in this regard... it’s supposed to be wild.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets @ #11 Miami Hurricanes, 3:30, ABC

I really can’t miss this. Now, some of you will be cheering for the Hurricanes because you want Mark Richt to be successful. That’s cool. For me its really just about hating Georgia Tech. If Richt derives some benefit from their suffering, I’m down with that too.

SATURDAY EVENING

Missouri Tigers @ #4 Georgia Bulldogs, 7:30, SEC Network

Who’s ready for another bloodletting under the lights of Sanford Stadium? It really is becoming one of my favorite Saturday night traditions.

SATURDAY LATE

Oregon Ducks @ #23 Stanford Cardinal, 11:00, FS1

Do you ever find yourself sitting in your living room at 2:45 am and saying “Damn, I wish there was some mid-tier Pac-12 football on!”? I’ve got good news.

That’s it for now folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
