Welcome to Tuesday, Bulldog Fans. It’s kinda like Monday in that you still revel in the post-coquettish phase of your love affair with Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, and not yet late enough in the week to really proclaim unfounded posturing about who gets the snaps under center. Now onto the notes and news you don’t really need, but want to know:
SEC Nation comes to Athens this Saturday for the Bulldogs contest versus Missouri. Does this mean Tim Tebow? I’ll take Maria Taylor instead. Does this mean Paul Finebaum? Sub in Laura Rutledge please (you can sense a theme). For whatever it’s worth, a camera crew and TV personalities will be on the Myers Quad, and will broadcast to whomever is poaching the SEC network off their friend’s dark web identity.
The UGAAA is celebrating this momentous occasion by distracting you from the Quad and directing your attention to what $8 million will buy you the newly renovated Steg instead. Open to the public, y’all.
If you’re feeling mostly confident about that football contest, but Larry Munson taught you that the devil is in the details, Mizzou released it’s depth chart and there is real, I kid you not, real controversy concerning their long snapper. No word on which is the dominant hand.
Many of you are aware that Georgia Offensive Guard Isaiah Wynn won SEC Road Grader of the Week for his paving performance in Nashville. When was the last time the Georgia Bulldog offensive line won any kind of award? I don’t know, but these nice things are nice. Some may say harbingers of doom, but others will say nice.
So how are we on injuries? Do you like brevity? Kirby Smart ain’t gonna give you much, and The Red & Black follows suit with updates on Reggie Carter, Solomon Kindley, Trenton Thompson, and even Michael Chigbu. Believe it or not, Natrez Patrick was at practice, and his suspension is being handled “internally”.
If you have other tidbits of note, please share them with your fellow ‘Dawg fans below, and as always...
GO ‘DAWGS!!!
