Georgia’s game next week against Vanderbilt has been tabbed for a noon kickoff on ESPN. It will be the second straight daytime kick for the ‘Dawgs following four night games to start the season.
Ole Miss, fresh off a Geneva Convention-defying throttling at the hands of Alabama will take on Auburn at noon on the SEC Network. Regrettably, CBS made the decision to pick up the LSU game as their 3:30 featured matchup. But it’s cool, the Tigers are playing Florida, not Troy, so they might actually win.
Normally I would be exceptionally leery of a noon start against Vanderbilt in Athens. In the past that’s been the first ingredient in a recipe for disaster. But I’m betting this squad remembers last season’s loss to the guys from Nashville. Time to sink the Commodores and get bowl-eligible.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
