Friday Morning 'Dawg Bites

New, comment

It's the eve of the game in Oxford, Mississippi. Here are a few newsy notes regarding your favorite team and mine.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

Ever been to Oxford?  It is one of the very few traditional SEC venues I have not been to, but is on a bucket list of sorts.  Larry Munson sure dreaded playing there back in the day.  If you're going, don't bother going to sleep tonight.  It's an 11 A.M. local time kickoff.

Former Georgia linebacker Christian Robinson, as part of Hugh Freeze's graduate assistant staff, is prepping for a reunion of some old friends.

Ole Miss will be getting the services of a key defensive player held out for concussion protocol, but another is doubtful.

247Sports' Jake Rowe takes a look at the match-ups for tomorrow's nooner.

Over at our Ole Miss SBNation site, Red Cup Rebellion puts the Dawgs under the microscope.  Their comment section is a little salty, BTW.  Stay classy.

We had an old saying around here, "Dont Bet on it!."  However, you're an adult so if you are a fan of that sort of thing, the line on the game hasn't changed all week.  Ole Miss is favored, and should be. However, I still think that noon start (11 A.M. CST) might be a good thing.

Enjoy your Friday, err'body.  As Always,

GO DAWGS!
