Good morning, Dawgs and Dawgettes. You’ve nearly made it to, what we hope, a “Redemption Saturday” of sorts. After last weekends’ near debacle, the Dawgs are heading west to play the the Missouri Tigers at lovely Farout Faurot field. Here are a few morning tidbits to ease you into the weekend.
Just a reminder that a bit later this afternoon/evening, Mark Webb is expected to commit to the the Dawgs to unite with his cousin, committed running back D’Andre Swift.
Jake Rowe over at 247Sports takes a look inside of the battles within the battle tomorrow night.
The Missourian takes a look at 5 things to watch for tomorrow night. One thing to note is Faurot Field seats roughly 72,000 and as of today there were about 11,000 tickets left unsold. Road trip, anyone?
Mizzou has not scored a touchdown on the Dawgs since 2013. Bill C. says this will probably change with a quality look at our defense.
Mizzou’s student newspaper, The Maneater, has a conversation with The Red and Black and opines about them and us.
Georgia QB commit Jake Fromm was at it again last night, as Houston County spanked Warner Robins, 63 - 28. Fromm’s passed for 5 TD’s, rushed for another and threw for 394 yards as the Bears ran their record to 5-0.
Be safe and we’ll see you with a few thoughts on the game on Sunday.
