Well, the Georgia Bulldogs game wasn’t much fun. Now that it’s over let’s all figure out the best channel to flip to.
The big one is tonight with No. 19 Tennessee taking on Virginia Tech in, of all places, Bristol Motor Speedway. We’ll have to see if the Vols look better than they did last week. That’s at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
Until then, we’ve got No. 10 Wisconsin hosting Akron (Big Ten Network), SMU at No. 23 Baylor (Fox Sports 1), Nevada at No. 18 Notre Dame (NBC), Western Kentucky at No. 1 Alabama (ESPN2) and Tulsa at No. 4 Ohio State (ABC) with 3:30 p.m. kicks. Wofford pays a visit to No. 19 Ole Miss at 4 p.m. on the SEC Network. At 5 p.m., Idaho visits No. 8 Washington (Pac-12 Network). You can catch No. 25 Miami against Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m. on the ACC Network. Other ranked teams playing tonight include: No. 14 Oklahoma (against Louisiana Monroe), No. 11 Texas (UTEP), No. 15 TCU (Arkansas), No. 16 Iowa (Iowa State), No. 21 LSU (Jacksonville State) and No. 24 Oregon (Virginia).
If you want to stay in the SEC, you can bridge the gap in the afternoon with the struggle-fest of Florida and Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. Another quality comedy option will be Mississippi State and South Carolina at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
Or, perhaps, Mercer and Georgia Tech on the ACC Network is your jam. It’s on right now.
I don’t know about you, but I am fascinated to see this game at Bristol. Can’t wait to see them put a football field in Talladega.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go on a run to calm my nerves.
