High school football is once again being played across Georgia, as well as much of the rest of the nation. That means that scores of Georgia Bulldog commits and recruits are out there once again showing why they’re being pursued by the top college football programs in the country. Every week we’ll spotlight at least some of them as they lead their teams to Friday night glory.
2017 Bulldog QB commit Jake Fromm had a banner Thursday night as his Houston County Bears won their opener over Mary Persons. Not to be outdone, 2018’s top target, Trevor Lawrence of Cartersville, had a great outing last night against defending AAAAA champion Allatoona. Lawrence passed for 249 yards and three touchdowns to lead his squad to a 30-14 victory.

Linebacker recruit Leonard Warner of Brookwood contributed a blocked punt which he then recovered in the end zone for a touchdown as the Broncos downed North Gwinnett 37-23.

I’ll be back next week, when a few more future Bulldogs will likely be in action. Until then, feel free to post any additional details on commits or recruits who had outstanding performances this weekend, and . . .
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
