Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart made an appearance on 680 The Fan today to talk a little football.
In the interview on "The Front Row," which you can listen to here, Smart said the odds seem to be improving for Nick Chubb to play in the season opener against UNC.
"I hope so," Smart said. "It's pointing in that direction."
UGA Head Coach Kirby Smart says things are pointing in the direction of having RB Nick Chubb ready for opening game vs UNC— 680 The Fan & 93.7FM (@680_The_Fan) August 17, 2016
Chubb was injured last season against Tennessee in October, and has been rehabbing his left knee ever since. He's been playing in practice and will obviously make a huge difference if he can suit up and carry the ball in the Georgia Dome.
