Where will the Georgia Bulldogs land in the postseason?
It’s a question that everyone is asking, and while 90 percent of these will probably be wrong, Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has offered up projections for each and every bowl game this year.
While Palm doesn’t have the ‘Dawgs in the College Football Playoff — those spots go to Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Clemson — he does have UGA in one of the former BCS bowls.
If things shake out like Palm predicts, Georgia will face Florida State Dec. 30 in the Orange Bowl.
It would be the first meeting between the teams since they played in the Sugar Bowl at the end of the 2002 season. Mark Richt’s ‘Dawgs beat Bobby Bowden’s Seminoles in that game, 26-13, to cap off a 13-1 season.
Here’s where Palm has the rest of the SEC:
Sugar: Oklahoma State vs. LSU
Outback: Michigan vs. Ole Miss
TaxSlayer: North Carolina vs. Florida
Citrus: Michigan State vs. Tennessee
Music City: Nebraska vs. Auburn
Liberty: West Virginia vs. Kentucky
Belk: Virginia Tech vs. Texas A&M
Texas: Texas vs. Arkansas
