Nick Chubb, Greg Pyke Named Preseason First-Team All-SEC

The preseason all-SEC Media Days team is out, and it includes two Georgia Bulldogs.

Gracing the first team are running back Nick Chubb and offensive lineman Greg Pyke.

Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly was the first team’s quarterback, with Leonard Fournette also getting the nod as a halfback. The two were the top vote getters overall.

UGA center Brandon Kublanow made the All-SEC second team offense. No Bulldogs were named to the first-team defense, but defensive back Dominick Sanders made the second team and linebacker Lorenzo Carter made the third team.

Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie made the third team as a specialist.

Alabama had the most first-team selections (shocker, I know) with seven, and holds the all-time record with nine first-team picks in 2011.
