SEC Media Days: Day Two Schedule/ How To Watch

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

What did we learn yesterday during the first verse of SEC Media Days? We learned that Gus Malzahn will do whatever it takes to save his job, that Auburn defensive end Carl Lawson doesn't understand how rivalries work, and that you're more likely to get socks on a feral cat than on Florida coach Jim McElwain.

Day two starts at 9:30 eastern with the always entertaining presentation by SEC director of officials Steve Shaw. Shaw will be explaining how league officials will be screwing someone over this season. As usual, the best part is that we don't know who'll be getting jobbed or precisely when (See Georgia at Vanderbilt, 2013). It's the best! I love it!

Next up will be the red and black contingent at 10:05 a.m. Coach Smart will field questions along with juniors Dominick Sanders and Jeb Blazevich and senior Brandon Kublanow. None of these guys is a serious quote machine, which probably explains why they're in Hoover. They'll be joined in that time slot by Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State contingent.

2:00 p.m. brings the Tennessee Volunteers, favorites to win the SEC East because writers like to count returning starters then head to the hotel bar. Also up will be Texas A&M and whatever players didn't transfer from College Station since February.

You can watch the action live on the SEC Network or on WatchESPN. This will be the "live thread" for the morning as we enjoy the unofficial kickoff of college football season. Until later...

Go 'Dawgs!!!
