The Olympic trials are underway in Omaha, Nebraska, and as you might expect, Jack Bauerle's program has more than its' fair share of athletes gunning for spots.
Well, the first two are headed south to Brazil and Rio this August. And even better they bested a former Gator to get there, as senior Chase Kalisz took first in the 400 individual medley with sophomore Jay Litherland running a few seconds after for second place ahead of Ryan Lochte in third.
There will surely be more swim Dawgs making their way to the Olympic team as the trials go on all week, and can be seen nightly on NBCSN (prelims) or NBC (finals).
