Malcolm Mitchell is hoping to hear his name called in the NFL Draft later this week, but the former Georgia Bulldogs standout has far more than that going on.
The wide receiver created a program called "Reading with Malcolm," which encourages kids and their parents to spend time reading books. He's even written and published his own children's book, "The Magician's Hat," and won some awards for the effort.
Above, Mitchell appears on the Steve Harvey show to talk about the book and his message to children.
"My message to kids is, 'you can be whatever you want to be," Mitchell says. "You can accomplish whatever goal you visualize for yourself, and you have the capabilities to achieve whatever it is. Every time you open up a book and flip a page, you're getting a step closer."
He then presented Harvey with three copies of his book. Could Mitchell be any more inspiring?
