Top instate 2017 offensive lineman decommits from 'Bama. Georgia an option?

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Even Kirby Smart acknowledged that Georgia's offensive line haul for 2016 just wasn't what it needed to be. Georgia will likely be looking to sign several offensive linemen in the 2017 cycle, and it looks like lone of their top targets may be back on the market. Cedar Grove's Netori Johnson, a 4 star prospect and currently the #5 rated guard in the nation according to 247Sports, tweeted his decommitment from Alabama this morning. Johnson had been pledged to the Tide since June.

At 6'5, 330 pounds, Johnson is exactly the type of big-bodied interior lineman new O-Line coach Sam Pittman favors. Look for the 'Dawgs to be joined by Ole Miss and Auburn in competing for the Ellenwood big man's signature a year from now. Until later . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!
