Georgia finished off its season on a positive note by winning the 2016 Liberty Bowl over TCU and reaching eight wins.
The ‘Dawgs are now third all-time in number of bowl victories with 30. But that’s not all, running back Nick Chubb moved into second all-time in career rushing yards with the Bulldogs:

That’s an impressive feat considering the huge stable of top running backs to come through Athens over the last three decades.
Now that his senior season is officially a go, Chubb has an outside chance of even catching the great Herschel Walker for the all-time record. That said, it’d be with quite an asterisk since Herschel did it in only three seasons.
Congrats to Chubb, and may today’s win be the proverbial springboard toward bigger and better things in 2017.
