Gameday Morning Dawg Bites

New, comments

In which we snuggle up with our favorite bottle of Bulleit Bourbon and accept the inevitable...

You have a little over 13 hours to kill before our Georgia Bulldogs take on the Kentucky Wildcats. Why not kill your sorrows with a tall glass of bourbon and read some stuff from the Internet?

Do you want to know what today’s opposing fans think of the Dawgs? Well you’re in luck. A Sea of Blue, SBNation’s Kentucky Wildcats blog, has just the thing for you.

Looking for a perspective from more traditional media? The Lexington Herald Leader has you covered.

And not to be outdone, ESPN does what ESPN does best: state the obvious.

Now that we got that out of the way, take a moment to read something a little deeper and more nostalgic... brought to you by the inimitable Loran Smith.

If you’re looking for something to give you some hope for the future, Jed May of The Red and Black details the leadership role Jeb Blazevich has been taking with the tight end group and the dividends its beginning to pay with developing stars Isaac Nauta and Charlie Woerner.

And apparently The Red and Black is just full of sunshine and happiness this week as Wilson Alexander recounts what happened the last 5 times Georgia began the season 4-4. With the exception of 1990, those aren’t bad ways to end bad years. Let’s hope for the same.

I’d give you more, but I don’t link to the AJC and I have to start numbing the pain early. But that should be more than enough to get you started and your Early Games Open Comment Thread isn’t too far off now.

Until next time...

Go Dawgs...
