Before you go and eat yourself into a food coma, let’s start the day off right with the latest news and headlines on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Isaiah McKenzie received some kudos from Brandon Boykin for breaking the latter’s record last week.

There will be three Georgia defensive players who may have an opportunity to test the NFL Draft waters - linebackers Lorenzo Carter and Davin Bellamy and safety Dominick Sanders. Each discussed their timelines for a decision, with all of them saying their focus is on Saturday and then that process will begin.

This time of the year we hear all about Georgia Tech’s triple option. It’s a scheme that can’t be prepared for in a week, so head coach Kirby Smart has been prepping for it since the offseason.

The players who were on the 2014 team remember that leaving the door open can lead to heartache. McKenzie, Brandon Kublanow and Sony Michel will likely spend some time reminding their teammates of it so that they don’t have to experience it themselves.

The Music City Bowl has its eye on the Dawgs per its executive director. Georgia’s last Music City Bowl appearance was in 2001 - a 20-16 loss to Boston College. SB Nation is currently penciling Georgia and Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl.

If you’re hankering for some women’s swimming, The Red & Black has got you covered.

Lastly, it’s never too early to start talking about the Masters. Georgia signed two prospects, including Augusta National Golf Club chairman Billy Payne’s grandson.

Now get back to the family and enjoy many gravy-added food items.
