Your Week 12 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by trucks, not caring for Auburn, and a seriously damaged Gus Bus...

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Its a great week to be a Georgia fan.  The skies are blue. The sun is out. Auburn is 2-8 against the Dawgs in the last 10 meetings. The Iron Bowl no longer has any meaning which crushes the media narrative (and that's just fun).

But as you know, this can not last.  Whenever we, as Georgia fans, begin to feel good about the way things are going, crushing disappointment is right around the corner.  But we'll ignore that for now and enjoy what ought to be a pretty stress-free weekend of watching college football.

With that in mind, here it is...

THURSDAY

Louisville Cardinals @ Houston Cougars, 8:00 pm, ESPN

Well, this game sure looked a helluva lot more interesting 6 weeks ago.  I'd say something about the media learning a lesson about hyping nonsense early in the season, but if it didn't happen after declaring Ole Miss and Mississippi State were going to battle it out for SEC supremacy it's not going to happen now.  That said, you could do worse than spending your Thursday evening with Tom "Golden Boy" Herman.

FRIDAY

UNLV Rebels @ Boise State Broncos, 9:00 pm, ESPN2

Sure... why not...

SATURDAY NOON

Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns @ Georgia Bulldogs, 12:00 pm, SEC Network Alternate

One might be tempted to watch the LSU Tigers and the Florida Gators in this slot.  I'm gonna be honest...  I wouldn't care if Georgia was playing an intramural flag-football team from a women's college, I still wouldn't actively choose to watch the Gators play football.  May the Dawgs beat the Cajuns soundly and the other Cajuns quench their desire for fried alligator flesh.

SATURDAY MIDDAY

Washington State Cougars @ Colorado Buffaloes, 3:30 pm, FOX

If you'd told me before the season that I'd be watching a Washington State/Colorado game at 3:30 in the afternoon toward the end of November, I would have called you a liar.  If you'd told me they were both going to be Top 20 teams, I would have called you a damned liar.  But here we are.

SATURDAY EVENING

Oklahoma Sooners @ West Virginia Mountaineers, 8:00 pm, ABC

I honestly can't see any viable way to make an argument for the other available games in this time slot. The Big 12 angers me, so I would if I could, but I can't.

SATURDAY LATE

New Mexico Lobos @ Colorado State Rams, 10:25 pm, ESPN2

The popular choice here is going to be the USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins... and I do love a good in-state rivalry. However, over the years I've become accustomed to drunkenly yelling at/about/for Mike Bobo during football games and so that is what I shall do.  LATE NIGHT BOBO BALL IS BACK, BABY!

That's all for this week folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
