You may recall that there was a little bit of a stir during the preseason when Greg McGarity confirmed that Georgia would indeed wear black jerseys for one home game this season.
Unless I've really not been paying attention, it has yet to happen. And unless I have likewise fallen asleep at the switch, the Red and Black have two more home games, this weekend against Louisiana-Lafayette and the post-Thanksgiving season finale against Georgia Tech.
McGarity and Kirby Smart could certainly change their minds and ditch the black uni. They could decide to don them twice. But if I were a betting man, I would put an amount less than my mortgage payment and more than the cost of a Chipotle burrito on the Georgia Bulldogs wearing black jerseys against the Yellow Jackets.
