Early Open Comment Thread: No ‘Dawgs? No Problem.

The sun has come up following a wild and terrifying evening for many of you along the Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina coasts. You remain in our thoughts and prayers, as there looks to be a long cleanup process yet to come.

For now, however, let’s take this opportunity to enjoy one of the things that make us thankful: college football.

While the Georgia Bulldogs won't be taking the field today, there's still plenty of reputable college football action on the docket.

The marquee game in the noon hour would have been LSU traveling to #18 Florida, but since that one was postponed, you'll have to look elsewhere. Luckily FS1 is carrying the Red River Shootout (subtitled ‘"Who wants to see what Charlie String is leaving in the cupboard?’), and Auburn takes on Mississippi State on SEC Network. And if you're inclined toward ACC football (weirdo), Notre Dame is visiting NC State on ABC.
