Georgia Overview

Going to stay positive.  Thought Dave summed it up best here.

We’ve got South Carolina next week in Columbia.  Let’s right the ship.

Movers

Fell Out: #17 Michigan State, #19 San Diego St., #21 TCU, #22 Texas, #25 Georgia

Newcomers: #17 UNC, #20 Oklahoma, #21 Colorado, #22 West Virginia, #25 Virginia Tech

Overrated

#10 Miami

Mark Richt owns Georgia Tech, but they will come back down to Earth this weekend against FSU, despite the Seminoles’ porous defense.

Underrated

#21 Colorado

The #21 ranking is appropriate, but I’ve seen too many jokes about the Buffalos being ranked.  This team is good, with their one loss coming in Ann Arbor after they kept it close with Michigan for much of the game.  Look for Colorado to continue to make noise in the Pac-12.

This Week’s Top 25 Matchups

#25 Virginia Tech vs. #17 UNC

#9 Tennessee vs. #8 Texas A&M

#1 Alabama vs. #16 Arkansas

#23 Florida State vs. #10 Miami

Upset Alert

As foreseen by HNostradamus, Oklahoma knocked off TCU.

This week, I’m going to take LSU over Florida as well as Florida State as a slight road dog against Miami.
