Victory Dancing: I Feel Good

You Knew that I would!

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur.  The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Victory Dance.

Sunday felt like an odd day to watch Georgia football, probably for all of you, and it does seem to have my week a little tiny bit off-kilter.  But the good news from this Sunday is that when time expired in the Columbia, SC the Classic City Canines were once again Victorious.

This week's dancing star is the combination of Nick "the Manimal" Chubb & Sony Michel.  Apparently last week's praise of Iceman Eason was too much praise for the Freshman. This week's game plan was built around the best Running Back Duo in all of College football.  Together Chubb & Michel ran for 254 out of the Bulldogs 326 total rushing yards on 37 combined carries rushing for over 100 yards each.  RTDB y'all, RTDB!

It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week's edition of: Victory Dancing, Smart Style.

Coach Kirby Smart currently boasts a 4-2 record and a 0.667 winning percentage, having carded his second SEC win over the South Carolina Gamecocks.  At the identical juncture in their careers:

Vince Dooley's sixth game as head coach resulted in a victory over Kentucky, giving Coach Dooley an opening record of 3-2-1 and 0.545 percentage.

Coach Mark Richt was 5-1 (0.833) after likewise beating the Kentucky Wildcats 43-29 in the 2001 season.

Six games into his head coaching career Kirby Smart is solidly in the middle of the two winningest coaches in Georgia History.

As always . . .

Go 'Dawgs !!!
