Georgia takes on young Missouri at the Stege.

Georgia (7-4, 0-1 SEC) looks to get back in the win column this evening when Mark Fox's team takes on the Missouri Tigers at 6:30 PM in the friendly confines of Stegeman Coliseum. Mr. Sanchez previewed the game earlier with our friends from Rock M Nation. I don't have a whole lot to add, other than that I really would like to see the Bulldog backcourt get on track. I'm also impressed that the 'Dawgs check in at #9 in the country in opponent shooting percentage. While that back court hasn't been creating a whole lot of turnovers, they have been forcing opponents to take tough shots. That's an improvement over the beginning of the season.

Kim Anderson's 7-6 Tigers are young and rebuilding, but improving. They check in at #133 in the latest RPI rankings. In short, this is the kind of team against whom the Hoop Hounds have been known to throw the odd pitch in the dirt (he said mixing his sports metaphors wildly). A win over the Tigers from the other Columbia would however be a nice springboard before taking on Ole Miss in Oxford on Saturday. Let's hoop it up, 'Dawg fans!
