Tons Of Visitors In Town For Georgia/South Carolina

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The Georgia/Alabama game on October 3rd still looks like it will be the biggest weekend for visiting recruits this season (perhaps not just in Athens but anywhere). But this weekend's visit from the South Carolina Gamecocks is looking to also be a star-studded affair in its own right.

Among the players expected on campus are 2016 commits Julian Rochester and Darion Anderson. Rochester's McEachern teammate (and 2017 Bulldog commit) Bailey Hockman will also be in town, as will fellow 2017 commit Deejay Dallas of Glynn Academy.

Among uncommitted players 2017 4 star prospects tailback Kurt Taylor and defensive back William Poole, III are expected, as are fellow 2017 athletes Stanford Samuels, III and Jamyest Williams. And of course it looks like 5 star receiver Kyle Davis of Archer High will be around once again. 4 star Texas running back Devwah Whaley will also make the trip. Whaley has been a big target for Thomas Brown and while Elijah Holyfield looks like a solid get for 2016, another blue chip tailback would not hurt one bit. Also slated to be in the Classic City is Archer offensive tackle E.J. Price. You'll remember that Price recommitted from Georgia several months ago, and that the 'Dawgs subsequently offered several other tackles. While there's every reason to believe that Price will ultimately commit elsewhere, he just keeps showing up in Athens. That's something to keep in mind. We'll see you tomorrow for all the game day action. Until then . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!
