Once again Vanderbilt has stubbornly hung in there against a Georgia team which, based on objective criteria, should be pretty far out front. But hey, that's why they play the games. Right Auburn? A few quick notes before we get things started in the second half.
- That penalty on Lorenzo Carter is what the game has become. Kind of dumb? In my opinion, yes. But it was the right call under the rule.
- Not so the hands to the face call on Leonard Floyd. That one can only be explained by the officials digging into a pregame meal of lead paint chip burritos. Nobody's perfect, but it's rare for even SEC officials to get it the exact opposite of right.
- I don't think it's fair to say Georgia has a quarterback controversy yet. But it's safe to say Greyson Lambert's first half didn't lock the job up.
- Is there a better second team tailback in the SEC than Sony Michel? If so, who?
