Oconee County LB Jaleel Laguins Commits To Georgia

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Bulldogs picked up another big piece of their 2016 recruiting puzzle this morning with the commitment of inside linebacker Jaleel Laguins. The four star prospect from right down the road in Watkinsville picked the 'Dawgs over Auburn. However he also counted offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, N Dame, Penn State, and  Tennessee.

Its easy to see why Laguins was coveted by so many programs. The 6'2, 210 pound rising junior has the speed to range sideline to sideline tackling anything in between. He's aggressive and against the run and shows good instincts for the ball. Laguins is the only inside linebacker committed for this cycle, and may be the only one in the Bulldogs' 2016 class with last years class including 2-3 players who project there. Congratulations to Jaleel, and ...

Go 'Dawgs!!!
