With the graduation of Chris Conley, Michael Bennett, and Jonathon Rumph Bulldog fans (and coaches) had been hoping this year would see a return to form for Bulldog senior wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley. Scott-Wesley suffered a torn ACL in 2013, then struggled to return to form in 2014, tallying a modest 3 receptions for 52 yards.
After a meniscal repair earlier this summer however it looked like things were on pace for JS-W's return, but today may have witnessed a setback.

That's Scott-Wesley going down with an apparent non-contact knee injury this afternoon during the open media viewing period. Obviously we don't know the nature or extent of this injury. It could be a minor tweak, and it's worth noting that Scott-Wesley was able to put a decent amount of weight on it. But that right knee is the same one that underwent ACL surgery in 2013 and meniscal repair earlier this summer. We'll be back as we know more, but in the meantime our thoughts are with Justin Scott-Wesley as we hope this is a non-issue. Until later . . .
