Today has the distinction not only of being a national holiday, celebrating America's 1776 foray into conference realignment, but also marks nine weeks until the first college football Saturday of the year. Meaning we're close enough to this sort of thing to taste it:

So celebrate here and abroad as you see fit, whether it be watching Georgia Bulldogs on the baseball diamond or the golf course, grilling or barbecuing (so long as you know there's a difference), or just relaxing with family and friends.
