I know, I know... 'Dawg Night. 'Nuff said. I understand our priorities. But if you're interested in the golf:

The weather didn't quite materialize, but Saturday's forecast is for good North Sea weather: steady at 20+ knots with gusts much higher. About a dozen golfers didn't finish the round due to darkness, including leader Dustin Johnson, so they will head out at 2 am ET (7 local) to finish the last few holes, set the cut line, re-pair the golfers into twosomes, and send them out into the fray based on their score after 2 rounds (higher the score, the earlier you go out).

And based on our finishes, we should have guys going out around 5 or 6 am, and another batch closer to 8 or 9 am. Tee times are, understandably, not available. But here are Friday's results.

Kevin Kisner, +1 through 12 and even for the tourney. Will finish 2nd round early Saturday. Currently on the cut number.

Bubba Watson, +1 through 15 and even for the tourney. Will finish 2nd round early Saturday. Currently on the cut number.

Brendon Todd, -1 through 15 and -2 for the tourney. Will finish 2nd round early Saturday. With the expected wind, that's good that he has a two shot cushion so he can allow a bogey but still make the cut.

Brian Harman shot 72 today, but that is +1 for the tourney and currently outside the cut line. He looks to be finished and will be calling Aer Lingus fer a wee reservation change.

Harris English shot even par 72 and is -1 for the tourney, so he looks to be safe for playing Saturday.

And Russell Henley, the mullet from Macon, shot a stellar 66 in the calmer morning weather and is T20 at 4 under par. With that 66, he moved up 89 spots!!! That shows you that no one was going low in the conditions.

So bring on the maelstrom and let's see what Dawg comes out on top!! TV Coverage is still on ESPN starting at 2 am to catch the final 2nd round finishers, and is supposedly available on WatchESPN as well. I'm sure they will be working off the cuff, especially not knowing how long the break will be between finishing the 2nd round and starting the 3rd. But kick back, and Go 'Dawgs!!!
