Big News: 2017 QB Bailey Hockman Commits To Georgia

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

The Bulldog coaching staff picked up the second big commitment from a McEachern Indian in less than a month when 2017 quarterback Bailey Hockman announced this morning that he plans to attend the University of Georgia. Hockman is rated the #2 pro style QB in the class of 2017 by 247Sports, one of three Georgia prospects in the top ten (along with Davis Mills of Greater Atlanta Christian and Jake Fromm of Houston County). 247 also slots him in as the #43 overall prospect in the country and the third best prospect in the state of Georgia among rising high school juniors.

Hockman also counted offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Miami and Michigan State after a sophomore season that saw him throw for 42 touchdowns versus only nine interceptions. I’ll be back this evening with an in-depth film breakdown of the newest Georgia Bulldog commit. Until then . . .
