We would be remiss if we allowed this day to pass without saying a special thanks to all of the men and women who have served our nation, including those among the Dawg Sports commentariat. We also reserve this day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for a grateful nation, and the families they left behind. Their sacrifice makes it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms we so often take for granted, including the freedom to make fun of Penn Wagers and Steve Spurrier with such zeal that you would think doing so was the key to curing cancer.
Feel free to use this space to add your thoughts on what this day means, to express your gratitude for those who have served our nation, and to let us know how you plan to spend the day. For my part, I'll be keeping it traditional with baseball, burgers, hotdogs, and an assortment of Sweetwater beers, all finished off with my wife's exceptional lemon cheesecake for dessert. Have a great one, and . . .
Go 'Dawgs!!!
