after a long talk with my family, I'm officially decommitting and opening my recruiting back up. I will not take any interviews.

To the surprise of essentially no one, Archer wide receiver Kyle Davis has decommitted from South Carolina and reopened his recruiting. Davis's very early Gamecock commitment was always a little puzzling to me, so this news isn't shocking. While not 100% dispositive, 247Sports' crystal ball predictions for Davis have been 100% for Georgia for quite some time now. Given his recent trips to Athens with current Bulldog commits, close connections with other 2016 Bulldog commits (including Jacob Eason), and the emphasis placed on him by the UGA staff, I'd say Georgia has to be among the favorites moving forward.
I personally believe that Davis, ranked the #5 wide receiver in the country and the #7 player in Georgia by 247Sports, is a critical component of Georgia's 2016 class. He's a guy capable of playing essentially all of the receiver slots in a pro style offense, or even moving down to a tight end/H back role if he gets bigger. With exceptional hands, phenomenal body control, and sneaky speed, Davis would make a strong addition to what's being called "Squad16." Until later . . .
Go 'Dawgs!!!
