Thankful to be joining the Ole Miss Rebels Coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant. I'll always be a Georgia boy.
— Christian Robinson (@crob45) April 22, 2015
Former Georgia linebacker and current graduate assistant Christian Robinson announced via Twitter this afternoon that he's leaving Athens and joining the Ole Miss staff in a similar role.
Robinson has always been a fan favorite, first as an undersized but tenacious defender (and great interview) and later as a solid recruiter and up-and-comer in the coaching ranks. As in a lot of other professions, it's hard to advance in coaching if you don't leave home. Robinson will report to veteran Ole Miss defensive coordinator Dave Wommack, who served stints at Southern Miss, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas State.
We wish the best to CRob in his latest endeavor. Until later . . .
Go 'Dawgs!!!
