Saturday G Day/Masters Thread

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

It's the most Georgian of sports Saturdays, as "moving day" at the Masters once again coincides with Georgia football's spring G Day Game. There is also a variety of other Red and Black sports action going on, and this is the place for all of it.

It should be a gorgeous day in Athens, with highs into the 80's and no significant chance of rain. If you can't make it to the Classic City, you can find details on how to catch the game via television and internet here.

The Masters is Jordan Spieth's to lose right now, but let's not lose sight of the fact that 4 of the 6 Georgia Bulldogs who began the week in the field are still around. Unfortunately, none appears to be a threat to win the tournament unless Spieth (and second place golfer Charley Hoffman) has an epic meltdown. Russell Henley is the top 'Dawg at the moment at 2 under, a distant 12 shots behind Spieth. But hey, on the whole we're making a better showing than the Jacket or Gator golfers, so I'm okay with that.

A full list of tee times for today is available here.

We'll be back with more later today, including some recruiting news related to G Day, and who knows what else. Until then, enjoy your sporting Saturday, and . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!
