As we start day two in Augusta, it's Jordan Spieth's major, everyone else is just playing in it. The former Texas Longhorn shot a blistering 8 under par 64 to establish a 3 shot lead over the competition at the end of day one. Russell Henley is currently the low Bulldog after carding a 4 under 68 (tied for sixth). Patrick Reed sits at -2, good for 12th. Stop me if you've heard this one, but Bubba Watson was sort of up and down on Thursday, but sits at 1 under, tied for 18th. Chris Kirk and Erik Compton also sit inside the cut line (top 50 plus ties, or within 10 shots of the lead).
Brian Harman on the other hand had three bogeys on both the front and back nines to card a +4 76 and has work to do if he's to play the weekend. Brendon Todd's +8 80 all but eliminates him from the proceedings. This is the place to watch all the action as Red and Black golfers chase the green jacket.
Once again you can find the full list of pairings and tee times here. Until later...
Go Dawgs!!!
