Tom Herman, Houston Have 'Agreed in Principle' to a New Contract
It's not quite a done deal, but Tom Herman may soon be out of the running as a potential replacement for Mark Richt at Georgia. Herman says he has agreed in principle on a new deal to keep him in Texas. Houston isn't playing games when it comes to keeping the young coach. They've reportedly offered him $3 million a year to stay, and said they're willing to go even higher if necessary. Houston is 11-1 and will host the AAC Championship Game this weekend.
