Georgia Overview

Georgia… well Georgia got destroyed by Florida 27-3 in an extremely disappointing performance in Jacksonville.  I don’t want to think about it anymore, but something has to change in Athens.

The Dawgs will look to right the ship against the Kentucky Wildcats at home this Saturday.

Movers

Fell Out: #22 Duke, #23 Pitt

Newcomers: #21 North Carolina, #24 Texas A&M

Overrated

#15 Florida State.  The Seminoles have performed well this season, with their only blemish coming against Georgia Tech in one of the crazier finishes to a game you’ll see.  However, with a showdown against Clemson looming this weekend, I’d imagine Florida State will take a tumble in the polls next week.

Underrated

#18 Houston.  Most of the love in the American has gone to Memphis, but Houston may actually be the best team in the conference.  After shutting out Vanderbilt 34-0, the Cougars are now 8-0 and looking to bust into a high profile bowl, or potentially even the CFB Playoff.

This Week’s Top 25 Matchups

#17 Florida State at #3 Clemson

#5 TCU at #12 Oklahoma State

#4 LSU at #7 Alabama

Upset Alert

Last week I picked Auburn to upset Ole Miss.  The Tigers gave them a scare, but the Rebels hung on for a 27-19 win.

This week, I’m taking the Indiana Hoosiers to give the Iowa Hawkeyes their first loss of the season.
