We're done thinking about the results of last Saturday's contest. We're looking forward to this Saturday's game where Nick Chubb has the opportunity to break the Georgia record for consecutive games with over 100 yards rushing which was set by Herschel in 1980. The NCAA record is 34 games set by DeAngelo Williams, Memphis Tigers from 2002 to 2005.
As of this past Saturday, Nick Chubb has played in 18 games for UGA, the respective statistics are:

Herschel has more carries and more total yards, but Chubb's Average Per Carry and longest run are both still higher than Walker's. Chubb still trails Walker by 1 in total touchdowns.
As things are, of the 5 available measures, three go to Walker and two go to Chubb.
Looking at the current slate of possible Heisman Winners, last week's Odds had your top five as:
1. Leonard Fournette, RB LSU -200
2. Seth Russell, QB Baylor 800
3. Ezekiel Elliot, QB Ohio State +900
4. Trevone Boykin, QB TCU +950
5. Nick Chubb, RB UGA +1500
The updated odds as of Tuesday evening are now:
1. Leonard Fournette, RB LSU +150
2. Nick Chubb, RB UGA +700
3. Trevone Boykin, QB TCU +700
4. Seth Russell, QB Baylor 800
5. Ezekiel Elliot, QB Ohio State +1200
6. Cody Kessler, QB USC+1200
Cody Kessler has now dropped out of the top five to number 8 and there are no longer any ties in the top five. Fournette now has a very solid lead while Chubb has dropped from #2 all the way down to #5. Boykin dropped from #3 last week to #4 this week while Russell and Elliot took the #2 and #3 slots respectively. Derrick Henry is still the #3 Running Back in the Heisman listings even though he's currently in the #7 slot.
The 2015 stat lines for the top 3 Running Backs are:

After last week's game Fournette has improved his edge over Chubb in all areas except the longest run where Chubb's 83 yard run Saturday is the longest. Chubb now has 13 games in which he ran for over 100 yards in the last two seasons to Fournette's 9. Fournette is certainly making his case for the Heisman this year with four consecutive games of over 100 yards and three with over 200 yards.
LSU is heavily relying on Fournette each week and he's getting serious style points for it. Chubb needs to step things up if he's going to win the Heisman.
We'll be back again next week to see where the bodies lie after week 6. Until then y'all keep praying for Chubb*, the Team, and the sanity of us all and ....,
Go Dawgs!!
*Dear Lord, We ask in earnest request that you have a hedge of protection over Nick Chubb to maintain his health, add strength to his legs, and quickness to his feet. So that he might lead our Glorious Dawgs to extraordinary feats. Deliver Chubb to a Heisman crown and make the Dawg Nation, National Championship bound. And all the people of this Church say "Go Dawgs!!"
