Your Week 6 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by RedCrake's liver... which still hasn't recovered from the beating the Georgia Bulldogs received at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

So last weekend sucked.  This one could suck even more.

In case you haven't noticed, my mood at the moment can best be expressed as:

eeyore

As you might imagine, I'm having a tough time getting fired up about football, but here goes...

Here are the games you should watch as you wait to find out whether your Saturday night will be spent jumping for joy or drowning your sorrows in the biggest bottle of Maker's Mark you can find.

THURSDAY

Washington Huskies @ USC Trojans, 9:00 pm, ESPN

Wow. It turns out this is a really crappy weekend for college football. Isn't it fitting, then, that we start it out with a Pac-12 contest?

FRIDAY

N.C. State Wolfpack @ Virginia Tech Hokies, 8:00 pm, ESPN

I can only assume these teams were as wasted last Saturday night as I was and forgot what day it was.  ACC teams play on Thursday nights guys!

SATURDAY NOON

Oklahoma Sooners @ Texas Longhorns, 12:00 pm, ABC

For the LULZ.

SATURDAY MIDDAY

Georgia Bulldogs @ Tennessee Volunteers, 3:30 pm, CBS

We all know you'll be watching this game, even though you should probably know better.  I've spoken to DavetheDawg and he assures me that Saturday's forecast is cloudy with a 90% chance of shattered dreams.

SATURDAY EVENING

Florida Gators @ Missouri Tigers, 7:00 pm, SEC Network

Its time to find out if the Gators or the Tigers will be playing come December in the Georgia Dome... you know, instead of Georgia... as usual.

SATURDAY LATE

I could tell you to watch the California Golden Bears take on the Utah Utes at 10:00 on ESPN... but why waste the time you could be spending on procuring Mr. Boston and a bottle of Quaaludes.

That's all for this week folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!

*(Note: This week's schedule contains no rankings because, even though I always knew it to be true, last weekend proved that rankings mean nothing.  Any ranking that indicates Georgia has proven anything is not worthy of our time.  There may come a point when the Dawgs have demonstrated that they are worthy of a ranking, but that time isn't now.  Until further notice, we will abide by the immortal words of Casey McCall (and apparently some Napoleon guy I've never heard of): "First we show up, then we see what happens.")
