Kenny Paul Geno injury: Bulldogs guard out indefinitely with broken wrist

Georgia's bench suffered a blow in Tuesday's loss to Arkansas as Kenny Paul Geno is out indefinitely with a broken wrist.

Spruce Derden-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia will be without backup guard Kenny Paul Geno for the foreseeable future after the sophomore guard suffered a broken wrist in Tuesday's loss to Arkansas.

Geno was scheduled to undergo surgery on Thursday and had appeared in all 13 games for the Bulldogs this season. Geno was averaging 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in about 9.5 minutes per game.

The loss will force Mark Fox to readjust his rotation slightly. Geno's absence could give guys like Cameron Forte Houston Kessler a few more minutes off the bench. Forte played just three minutes on Tuesday and recently was out due to a flu bug. He's appeared in 11 games this season but is averaging just three minutes in those contests.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday with a road game at LSU.
