Georgia/LSU Open Comment Thread.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia looks to avoid a costly 0-2 start in conference play tonight as they take on LSU in Baton Rouge. The Tigers come in with an 11-3 record and an RPI of 48, though like the 'Dawgs they stand at 0-1 in the SEC following a loss to Mizzou. Kris already brought you the preview of tonight's game, in which he noted correctly that Georgia's going to have to get good play from the tandem of Mann and Gaines, who combined for a paltry 18 points in Tuesday night's tough home loss to Arkansas. I would add only that the 'Dawgs will be seriously tested in the front court, where a decided rebounding advantage may be required to pull this one out. LSU is a solid 8-0 at home this season, and ending that dominance would be a great way for Mark Fox and crew to keep this season from taking a turn toward negative town.

We'll see you afterwards for the game recap, but until then . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!
