Georgia's basketball schedule saw some slight changes announced late last night as the Preseason NIT officially reduced their tournament size from 16 teams to just 8.

Georgia will host Stony Brook in Athens, expected to be sometime in mid November although that date is still unannounced.  What Mark Fox and his crew do know though, is that we will face Gonzaga for the fifth time in our history on November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving).  Depending on a win or loss there, we'll face the winner or loser St. John's and Minnesota.

Georgia first played Gonzaga in Madison Square Garden, where the November contest will be held, in December of 2002 earning a 95-83 victory in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic during Jim Harrick's final season.  Georgia lost twice to them under Dennis Felton, in 2003-4 and in the 2007-8 seasons, but also won 96-83 at Gwinnett Arena in December of 2006.

Georgia announced their SEC schedule about a month ago.
