SEC Media Days, Day Two: The Ole Ball Coach Takes A Swing At This Thing.

USA TODAY Sports

Day Two of SEC Media Days kicks off this morning at 10:00 a.m. with South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier stepping to the podium to coach 'em up on the finer points of being a pot stirring sumbitch. Watch the master at work, sonny boy. You might learn something. The full schedule for the day is as follows:

Session I: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier. Haters gone hate to follow the Head Hater.
  • South Carolina offensive guard A.J. Cann. One of the top interior linemen in the league will probably be asked about expectations for the veteran group he helps lead.
  • South Carolina defensive tackle J.T. Surratt.
  • South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson. He can't be Connor Shaw, because Steve Spurrier already got Connor Shaw killed by running him on 58 consecutive QB keepers in 2013. But he can be the best Dylan Thompson he's capable of being, and that's just swell.
  • Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen. Gonna talk to 'em with the Egg Bowl trophy sitting in a chair next to him, dressed in a wig and lipstick. Gonna look a little like Bo Wallace's aunt Sheila.
  • Mississippi State safety Jay Hughes
  • Mississippi State linebacker Benardrick McKinney
  • Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott is no worse than the fourth best returning quarterback in the SEC and yes, the apocalypse is upon us.
Session II: 2-5 p.m.
  • Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin. Every time you ask a question that includes the words "Johnny Manziel" he's going to mentally substitute "Kaley Cuoco." That's why Kevin Sumlin is laughing, anonymous media person. He's not laughing with you.
  • Texas A&M defensive back Deshazor Everett
  • Texas A&M punter Drew Kaser
  • Texas A&M offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi. Large. In charge.
  • Tennessee head coach Butch Jones. Signed 493 three star prospects on his way through the hotel lobby.
  • Tennessee offensive lineman Mack Crowder
  • Tennessee linebacker A.J. Johnson
  • Tennessee defensive end Curt Maggitt

As with yesterday you can watch the controlled chaos live from Hoover on ESPN. You can also watch the live stream over at the SEC Network site. Feel free to use this as your Media Days Open Comment Thread for the remainder of the morning. Until later . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!
