Monday Morning 'Dawg Bites.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Your work week beckons. And if you overslept because you were up until the wee hours writing to the Discovery Channel to demand your snake-watching money back, you may be in a hurry. So let's cut right to the chase with what's making news this morning around Bulldog Nation.

Ranking the bowls 1-38 (excluding the national championship) | Dr. Saturday - Yahoo Sports
Yahoo Sports ranks the bowl games from top to bottom, slotting the Belk Bowl at number 8. The Grantham storyline was clearly one of the reasons this matchup came to be. We mght as well get used to hearing about it.

Source: J.J. Green to Georgia Tech - Southern Pigskin
Speaking of familiar faces in new places, reports have J.J. Green's quest to find a school which will let him play offense ending right up the road in Atlanta. This is one of those situations that really tests Mark Richt's open transfer policy because, as this article notes, Green really is built for the A-back position in the Tech offense. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Dawgs saw him back in Athens in 2016 playing it.

Georgia picks up signature win, beats Colorado 64-57 - The Red and Black : Sports
Georgia used a 12-0 run going into the half to down the Colorado Buffalos Sunday, winning a game that the 'Dawgs really couldn't afford to lose and which may look very nice on their resume come March. Also, Marcus Thornton is a grown man.

Blog: Richt on what he's looking for in new strength coach | Online Athens
Let's all take turns reading into these comments from Coach Richt. My between-the-lines reading of the thing is that our players need to be better conditioned to play against fast-paced offenses, and better fortified against injury. But that could just be me projecting.

That should get you started. Until later.....

Go 'Dawgs!!!
