Bulldog Recruit D'andre Walker Announces Final Three By "Elfing" Himself.

Four star defensive end/linebacker recruit D'Andre Walker is worth bringing to Athens based solely on his pass rushing ability. But I sense, as a blogger, that adding him to the team may pay dividends off the field as well.

Late last week I missed this, but Walker announced his top three. Georgia has been among the leaders for his services for a while now, so it's no surprise that the 'Dawgs joined Auburn and Tennessee in making the cut. What was a little surprising was Walker's method of announcing his top three. He posted an "elf yourself" video of himself dancing with his three finalists:

Full disclosure. While losing guys like Chris Conley and Watts Dantzler is a hit on the field, it's also a loss in the "interesting players to write about" column. Every blogger counts on having a couple of guys around to do interesting, perhaps off-the-wall stuff for us to write about when there's no actual football afoot. D'Andre Walker looks like he could be a five star prospect in the "Hey, did you hear what ____ did?" category. If he gets Mark Richt to appear in a video remake of "Putting on the Ritz", D'Andre Walker will instantly become one of my favorite Bulldogs. Until later...
