Here's a stat that's sure to make you a little nervous: three out of the last four Georgia/Kentucky games contested in Lexington have been decided by five or fewer points. Some of that has been the result of inconsistent QB play, some of it turnovers, and some of it quite frankly has probably resulted from the same type of lackadaisical effort Georgia players copped to after the Florida loss.
The good news is that a Bulldog team which got smacked around by the Gators in Jacksonville has absolutely zero reason to be overconfident coming into this one. I expect to see a team that's tired of being criticized by the media and perhaps even more strongly by their own fans. Will that translate to a solid win over a Bluegrass State squad that's looked very dangerous at times in 2014? There's only one way to find out, and that's to watch. Until later . . .
Go 'Dawgs!!!
